A system on a chip ("SoC") developed by Apple's in-house chip design department. It is used in iPad, both models of the iPhone 4 (GSM and CDMA), Apple TV 2G and the iPod touch 4G. Publicly, Apple refers to this chip as the A4.

Specifications
