For the 3XXX group I think this doesn't make sense, because the previous comment didn't match all existing 3XXX entries. So better add the comment to every error where it applies to. Also, most users will search for their error number and not read all the titles and stuff, so anything that applies to one specific number should be there. Sorting things out

I feel the article's getting rather cluttered. Would anyone have problems if similar errors were grouped together? Also, Apple'a KB article seems to mix the negative error numbers with the positive ones. Do you suppose we should do that on this page too? --Dialexio 22:03, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

I prefer to have the list sorted by number. But maybe separated into groups like negative numbers, positive numbers, text messages, etc. would make sense. I agree that some messages are identical right now, but maybe in the future someone has additional information about one specific message, so I'd prefer to not group them, just because the text is the same right now. But if you find it is better the other way, just go ahead, this was just my opinion. -- http 22:28, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
When I said "similar errors" I actually meant errors with similar error numbers and similar meanings, like the Error 3XXX range. --Dialexio 23:23, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
Ah, yes, I think we should remove the 3XXX and put distinct numbers there. I only found the number 3194, but maybe there are others. -- http 06:50, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
A few days ago, I made some groups to give it a structure. If you really want, you could add a comment to every group, although I think such comments would be too general. For the 3XXX group I think this doesn't make sense, because the previous comment didn't match all existing 3XXX entries. So better add the comment to every error where it applies to. Also, most users will search for their error number and not read all the titles and stuff, so anything that applies to one specific number should be there. So I consider this thread closed. -- http 23:10, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

Errors to include

I assume iTunes has really lots of error codes that could potentially appear. I think this list should only include the errors that commonly happen to users during a restore and not all messages that you got from an iTunes dump or whatever. -- http 23:10, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

Casing of Late 2008 / Early 2009 MacBook

The late vs Late thing is arguable. Late is normally an adjective which is not capitalized, but Apple likes to use the words early/late/mid as parts of titles, and in English titles are normally capitalized. Because English is so vague on rules like this, all that matters is that you keep the format consistent throughout the page (or else Dialexio will eat you) :).
