Stages
A common misconception is that there is only 3 stages: EVT, DVT, PVT. There are actually more. Some are inside of these 3 main stages, the others are at the beginning. The main stages are: PROTOX, these are the earliest devices of a particlar product, the earliest ones may not even look like the device there a prototype for, they have earlier SOC's, may even run InternalUI/NonUI/Retail builds of the previous version of iOS/iPadOS/WatchOS/TvOS. EVT: these typiclaly look more like production models BUT may have different features.
