I don't think you mean harm, but you are very uninformed for 2 or 3 of the items there.

Fix it as you see fit, I removed the protect. I realized that this isn't the place for my ideas, and if you are willing to contribute, every page will be editable.

anySim3rc3 was the first version to require the use of the bleichenbacher exploit. That's more than just a patch. I had talked about that on my blog way before Zibri.

== selective membership? whaaaaaa? ==

as far as I know, there are only devteam members that are wiki editors on iphone-deb.org. that is not exactly "selective membership" by the way that it isput anyway...

geohot, I think that protecting this page would be a good idea, because it seems that confused people that mean no harm are editting out things as well as adding false facts. why not just have people flow. their ideas via this page and you can add them to the main page. this is just to weed out the uninformed information. although mn said that it's not a wiki if this page is protected, think about the.locked pages on wikipefia, or even just thinking about the state of iphone-dev.org should suffice :)

I think spam has been pretty well handled. Few bots go to all the trouble of creating an account and confirming it. And I have some "secret" anti-spam stuff which seems to be working. So dev, so much for that excuse. ~geohot

User:Dialexio "Removed Zibri-hijacked link". Thanks for updating. But shouldn't the previous link also be included? There are at least some infos or tools that could potentionally be useful. I don't know anything about the Zibri-discussion. Maybe you want to write a neutral article about that dispute?

Also all these external links should be restructured into an external link list (maybe even a new page). --http 19:28, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

I switched it since there were members from the Elite Dev Team in the "iphoneelite" page, compared to only Zibri and unknown names in the "iphone-elite" page. I don't believe there should be an article explaining the Zibri drama here, since it will wind up with a biased view.
I'll have to agree with relocating the links, too. --Dialexio 21:45, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

Just wondering, why exactly is geohot's blog hidden/blocked? I read the reason once somewhere, but I've forgotten... --The preceding unsigned comment was added by Rdqronos (talk) 22:55, 18 April 2011 (UTC). Please consult this page for more info on how to sign pages, and how to fix this.
