− | The [[App Store]] is an application for the [[iPhone]] and [[iPod touch]] designed/created by Apple. It allows users to browse and download applications, which were developed by using the [[iPhone SDK]] and published through Apple after successful review. Apple offers 70 percent of the money from the Apps go to the owner, whilst Apple retains 30 percent. The [[App Store]] first opened on July 11, 2008 through a Software Update (2.0) which was free to iPhone users but cost a small amount to iPod touch users. |
