What I can't find anywhere is a tutorial on how to upgrade an already jailbroken iPhone to a new version of iOS. Is this so incredibly easy that it's not worth posting something about? Am I just being too tentative with my phone? -- --The preceding unsigned comment was added by KnightCode (talk) 27 October 2010, 20:55 (UTC). - To install any version of iOS, you have to Restore the device, usually with iTunes. You jailbreak it later, so it doesn't matter if it's already jailbroken or not. Some exceptions are tools like redsn0w. This wiki is more for techy users and hackers (or wannabe hackers). For user type problems, you better go to a forum and ask there. On my user page there's such a forum link. -- http 21:10, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Purpose
Why do we have these? I thought we do not write tutorials? Can these be removed? --iAdam1n (talk) 18:50, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
- Just don't add new ones. We usually don't delete any information. Most of these are special instructions, not dummy-user tutorials. But talking about multiple articles with different content in global is kind of difficult. If you have specific concerns about one article, bring it up there. --http (talk) 06:55, 18 April 2013 (UTC)
