The S5L8960X is the Apple A7 processor currently used in the iPhone 5s and iPad mini 2. It is a 64-bit Apple-designed dual-core Cyclone ARMv8-A CPU running at 1.3 - 1.4 GHz.
Hardware
The A7 is manufactured using the Samsung 28nm HKMG process and has a die size of 104mm2. It contains a 4-core IMG PowerVR G6430 GPU.
