This wiki was founded by famous hacker geohot in July 2008 and was owned by him until May 2015, when he [[[The_iPhone_Wiki:Changing Ownership|transferred it]] to saurik.
This wiki is used to collect all public knowledge about all iOS devices (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Watch) to give new hackers a way to learn existing knowledge before they start their own work. Everybody can participate, but you need to create an account to edit pages.
