The PMB9955 is the baseband chip used in the iPad Pro (11-inch), iPad Pro (12.9-inch, 3rd generation), iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. It is responsible for transmitting simultaneous voice and data transfer on LTE (provided the carrier has the infrastructure to allow simultaneous voice and data transfer.)
