+ | Would it fit within the scope of TheiPhoneWiki to make an article about common Cydia errors and how to resolve them, starting with this information I've compiled at JailbreakQA? I'm thinking it'd be like the iTunes Errors article. It'd be documentation about Cydia instead of about the iPhone itself, so I'm not sure. + | :This wiki is not for normal user support or how-to guides, it is for people who want to understand the inner workings of the iPhone and jailbreaking. But that being said, I think documenting standard error messages does belong here, especially as Cydia is an important piece of the entire jailbreaking process. If it's just those four messages you listed in that link, we might simply want to include them as a chapter within this page here. Let's hear what others think. --http (talk) 21:38, 17 March 2013 (UTC) |

Scope question
Would it fit within the scope of TheiPhoneWiki to make an article about common Cydia errors and how to resolve them, starting with this information I've compiled at JailbreakQA? I'm thinking it'd be like the iTunes Errors article. It'd be documentation about Cydia instead of about the iPhone itself, so I'm not sure. Britta (talk) 08:00, 17 March 2013 (UTC)

But that being said, I think documenting standard error messages does belong here, especially as Cydia is an important piece of the entire jailbreaking process.
