Summary

Hello is an internal app which Apple employees use to obtain company news from Apple. It's not known exactly when Hello was introduced, however, we do know that it is the successor to RetailMe. The Hello icon is very simple and contains the famous cursive "hello" text that appeared on the original Macintosh when it was unveiled in 1984 overlaid onto a white background. Hello also has a macOS counterpart, which has a similar icon, except the background is a black gradient and the text is white. It is unknown whether or not Hello has its own web component like its predecessor, RetailMe. Not much else is known about the Hello app, aside from the fact that it, like many other internal apps, also requires an AppleConnect account in order to sign in.
