Seas0nPass is a jailbreak tool exclusively for the Apple TV (2nd generation). It provides a front-end interface for XPwn.
It creates a custom IPSW for a restore-based jailbreak, rather than one that consists of running unsigned code to jailbreak the device. Currently, Seas0nPass provides a untethered jailbreak (tethered jailbreak for 6.2.1). It can also save SHSH blobs.
Requirements
- Apple TV (2nd generation)
- A micro-USB cable
- x86-based computer running either of these operating systems:
- Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6) or later
- Windows XP or later (also requires .NET Framework 4.0)
- Latest version of iTunes
- Aluminum Apple Remote (no other remote will work)
