The iMac (24-inch, M1, 2021) was introduced at Apple's 'Spring Loaded' event on 20 April 2021.
It is the first iMac to feature Apple Silicon as part of the transition from x86_64-based Intel processors.
It was made available for preorder on the 30 April 2021, and for purchase in the second half of May 2021.
The firmware identifiers are iMac21,1 (four ports) and iMac21,2 (two ports).
