Summary
The iPhone 5 Screening Tool is an application available both to GSX (Apple Global Service Exchange), and Apple Employees. This app used for hardware quality testing of iPhones. According to official documentation it should only be used for the iPhone 5 Sleep/Wake Button Replacement Program, but does feature a verity of other tests. The Screening Tool is used to record the cosmetic and functional condition of the iPhone prior to repair. iOS 7.1 or later is required for the Screening Tool.
