The Mac Studio (2022) was introduced at Apple's 'Peek Performance' event on 8 March 2022, and is the first device in its line.

It was made available for preorder on the 8 March 2022, and for purchase on the 18 March 2022.

The firmware identifiers are Mac13,1 (M1 Max) and Mac13,2 (M1 Ultra).

Application Processor

This model of the Mac Studio uses the M1 Max or M1 Ultra SoC, depending on the configuration.
