I believe it's like a software implementation of DFU, so it can be used to "patch" bugs in DFU (to an extent; remember that DFU can't be changed once the device leaves Foxconn's doors). There are some WTF IPSW URL's in the Apple Firmware XML file. What are those? --Balloonhead66 17:11, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
- "WTF" is part of the restore process.
