I'd suggest re-organizing this article to have one section per event (with each section containing all of that event's relevant slides, videos, etc.) instead of splitting each event's materials into multiple sections. This can help people get useful information from the talks - it'd be easy to correlate a video with its slides this way, instead of making the reader jump around to get all the relevant information about a talk. I'd be happy to re-organize it myself, but I figure I should wait for other opinions. [[User:Britta|Britta]] ([[User talk:Britta|talk]]) 08:20, 29 August 2013 (UTC)

I just saw the big list with news articles about the events. I think that's a little off-topic for here, as it contains no value for the reader, especially no technical value. But I don't want to remove something that others might like. Other opinions about this? --

Name change

Before we make more changes overwriting each other, I would suggest to leave everything under MyGreatFest and on the new page JailbreakCon just mention the name change and reference the other page. But no slideshow links, speakers etc because that doesn't belong to future conventions. If the next convention is really named JailbreakCon, we can describe everything for that event there. If there are more then we might talk about joining them, but right now I don't see any reason to put MyGreatFest content onto this new page. Other opinions? -- http 07:55, 18 September 2011 (MDT)

That all works for me :) Sorry about the unilateral change. beej 08:21, 18 September 2011 (MDT)
Not saying it was like this, but what about ComicCon, say it was called something else the first year and changed on the first day, Wikipedia doesn't keep two pages, just ComicCon --5urd 15:12, 18 September 2011 (MDT)
Since the information on MyGreatFest mainly just has to deal with that one conference it shouldn't be added to the new one. I agree it should note that it was previously held under the MyGreatFest name. --Jacob 23:09, 18 September 2011 (MDT)

Section organization

I'd suggest re-organizing this article to have one section per event (with each section containing all of that event's relevant slides, videos, etc.) instead of splitting each event's materials into multiple sections. This can help people get useful information from the talks - it'd be easy to correlate a video with its slides this way, instead of making the reader jump around to get all the relevant information about a talk. I'd be happy to re-organize it myself, but I figure I should wait for other opinions. Britta (talk) 08:20, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
