The S5L8960 is the Apple A7 SoC currently used in the iPhone 5s, iPad mini 2, and iPad mini 3.
Hardware
The A7 is manufactured by Samsung using their 28 nm HKMG process, and has a die size of 104 mm2. Its CPU contains two Apple-designed "Cyclone" (ARMv8-A) 64-bit cores clocked at 1.3-1.4 GHz. It contains a 4-core IMG PowerVR G6430 GPU.
