AppShack functions as an internal App Store, much like Switchboard. AppShack was introduced in the iOS 13.0 InternalUI build and is believed to be an alternative to Switchboard, possibly serving as an eventual replacement. AppShack requires an AppleConnect account to use. The icon contains a bungalow overlaid onto an orange background. Inside AppShack, there are a variety of applications, some of which can also be downloaded from Switchboard. Some of these apps include ARMaps, JarvisDemo, Livability, and Siri Beta, along with many other apps (some for retail use, some for service centers, and some for corporate employees). AppShack also includes a web component, which allows employees to download apps that would normally be available in the AppShack app through Safari. This web component is located at appshack.swe.apple.com, but can only be accessed after employees have signed in with AppleConnect. The apps available within AppShack vary from employee to employee depending upon one's AppleConnect permissions.
