Talk:Ramdisk
Compression in 3.x
I'm sure you guys are getting to posting it (well, maybe not, because you may want to keep something secret), but how would one go about decompressing a decrypted ramdisk? I tried using a decrypted b2 ramdisk with genpass just to realize that it was still compressed, so I kept getting incorrect keys.

- yea, either snow leopard, running genpass on a already jailbroken iphone 3.0b2, or adding the new compression to xpwn. take your pick =P

- Well, adding it to XPwn will come eventually, but what do you mean by running genpass on a jailbroken phone? Using hfs tools on the phone to extract the ramdisk (since they must understand the compression) and rebuilding the ramdisk?
