I'm working as a software developer. My first machine code experience was on a Commodore 64 (6510 processor) in the 80s I think. Later 68000 (AMIGA), Intel 80186, SATURN (on the HP48SX calculator, reverse engineering the whole operating system, that was 1992). In the last ten years I'm not programming assembler anymore (only higher languages), but I know the basics of the new technology also (memory protection by the processor etc.) I'm following all this to get more up to date on the iPhone jailbreaking scene, because I think if you buy an iPhone it's your right to fully use it. Now that I have one, I want to participate here also. But better you treat me like a n00b, what is true regarding iPhone cracking at the moment.
