This is a 4.0 version-based internal firmware. It contains kernels for A4, A5 devices as well as earlier iPhones such as the 3Gs and 3G. It contains minor visual glitches and performance issues.
Background
It was originally leaked in the form of a restore bundle. The root filesystem key leaked, and a decrypted rootfs started making its way around. The bundle also contained an unreleased UI build that is still encrypted with no keys leaked. IPSWs for this build were later created for the iPhone 3Gs and iPhone 4 and can be restored to using bootrom exploits.
Odd Behaviors
This firmware can be ported to the 3G. However, upon booting, the app icons will be missing, SwitchBoard will be rapidly flickering, and the device will most likely be hardware damaged.
