Tihmstar is known for the creation of the tsschecker and Futurerestore utilities, which are major components of the Prometheus downgrade method.
He has also developed several jailbreaks, such as:
- EtasonJB for iOS 8.4.1 (32bit only)
- h3lix (32bit) and doubleH3lix (64bit) for iOS 10.x
- jelbrekTime for the Apple Watch Series 3 on watchOS 4.1 (this is a developer jailbreak)
- EtasonATV for the Apple TV (3rd generation) running on Software Version 7.4
