"Vandalism"
That isn't vandalism, it's just your iPhone that knew me. http://cl.ly/3YQy --Qwertyoruiop 19:04, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
KBAGs
Hello, Liamchat! I noticed that you've been adding KBAGs to the key pages. I certainly appreciate the addition of such information, but just listing KBAGs without mentioning which file they're for isn't exactly helpful. Would you mind mentioning which file each KBAG is for? --Dialexio 21:39, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
- i added them because i don't have those devices and i think it may help people get the key's if i add them however the exact is

Edit Wars
- Opinion - "a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty." [1]
One doesn't need evidence to state an opinion. For example, I can safely go around saying, "Cookies taste good," without proof and no one will bash me for it. THEREFORE, the entries in the above table should NOT be edited by anyone other than their author, as that is their opinion. You can't make me think that red isn't a good color anymore than I can make you enjoy using hairspray.
My point is, it's someone's opinion and you can't change it.
Therefore, </edit-war> --dra1nerdrake 00:45, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- I like your thinking. I agree 100%
- P.S: I object your "Cookies taste good" since I'm always right ;P

Template for keys
Hi liamchat! It's nice if you post new keys pages. But could you use the standard format (template), I mean like JasperVail 8C134 (iPhone_3GS), instead of this new page from you? Preferrably without the KBAGs (until all agreed that we want them). This way you save us some reformatting work and you'll have less haters. Thanks! --http 23:35, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- ok when I grab the keys it reads the restore.plist and places them in the order that apple use however I do think i can change that also I will remove the kbag field --liamchat 00:29, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
- Not only the order, also the titles, etc. --http
- On your new page Jasper 8C148 (iPad) you did it again. Please update it according to the template. Thanks. --http 19:15, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
- ok i am trying to incorporate the template into the program, i am editing them now --liamchat 19:33, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
- You have been warned before that you have to use the template. And even after my message above you posted another one not following the rules. Please understand that you have to play nice with others. There is no race to be the first here. As a consequence you have been blocked for a day to think about this. Next time it's more than a day. I hope you understand that. -- http 20:22, 22 November 2010 (UTC)

How do you get your keys?
You may or may not realize it, but you can only get iPhone 4 keys with an iPhone 4. Likewise, you can only get iPad keys with an iPad. So on and so on. This is because each device has a unique AES engine. If you have been posting iPhone 4 keys by running your shell script with an iPod touch 2G or anything else than an iPhone 4, you've been posting incorrect keys and I'd appreciate it if you tested them with xpwn to see if they give you binaries or gobbledygook. In the case of the latter, please remove the keys that are incorrect but leave the pages intact, as I've just reformatted some of them. --dra1nerdrake 20:30, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, if devices share the same applications processor, they can also decrypt each others' KBAGs. ;) (i.e.- iPod touch 1G can fetch iPhone 3G keys because they both use the S5L8900, and the iPhone 4 can fetch iPod touch 4G keys because they both use the S5L8930.)
- But yeah... If the applications processor is different, you can't get the KBAGs like tht. (i.e.- The iPod touch 2G uses the S5L8720 while the iPhone 3GS uses the S5L8920, so you cannot get 3GS keys with an iPod touch 2G.) --Dialexio 20:46, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
- all of my key's are tested before i post them i just had some problem's with PwnPie not looking at the device the ipsw was made for and the double backspace was more work to fix now i need to know how to arrange "$line1" and move the "$line3" and "$line2" with it and i did get my hand's on a iphone 3gs and 3g for a day so i got ApexVail 8A274b (iPhone 3G) and ApexVail 8A274b (iPhone 3GS) (key's are missing) --liamchat 20:21, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
Firmware
Please follow the standard format for folders:
== Summary == A short summary of this folder == Children == === Folders === a list of folders using the ipfw template === Files === a list of files using the ipfw template == Parents == List of parents... Example: Root/var/stash/Applications.*****
and the fomat for files:
== Summary == a short summary == File Contents == says it all == Parents == same as above
