Talk:Dream Team
Members
Why are pimskeks, saurik and xvolks included? They are all respectable people and involved with these jailbreaks, but I don't consider them a "member" of the "Dream Team". In the original announcement (I can't find the tweet anymore) there were only the other four. Also, in the meantime, probably p0sixninja retired, at least from Chronic Dev. (The latest activity shows he's still active though.) But maybe you have newer/better infos. --http 01:17, 22 October 2012 (MDT)
- I don't really have better sources… I put in some names that were related to the developments. Oh well… Again, it's not like this is a new, "official" jailbreak team that splintered off from the iPhone Dev Team and Chronic Dev Team. :P --Dialexio 11:00, 22 October 2012 (MDT)
Name
The original naming of "dream team" was on pod2g's blog not via twitter. http://www.pod2g.org/2012/01/sandbox-difficulties.html This is confirmed up by a reference on the iPhone dev team's blog http://blog.iphone-dev.org/post/16162905938/corona-a5-jailbreak-nearly-ready-to-pop
Pimseks assisted with the app used to jailbreak A5 devices on 5.0.1 https://twitter.com/planetbeing/status/160165639133200385
xvolks ported/updated planetbeing's iBooks fixes to the corona/absinthe jailbreak https://twitter.com/xvolks/status/151370335969751041
saurik contributed to the 5.1 untethered jailbreak https://twitter.com/MuscleNerd/status/156693059252396032
I don't know if any of these contributions mean that these individuals are considered a member of the Dream Team (which as Dialexio points out never was an official splinter jailbreak team).
