iPhone 3G
And what about the iPhone 3G, especially with old/new version? I think the new ones are all of type MC and have iBoot-5.09, the old ones iBoot-5.08, in a totally different number range. see also here. Can you confirm that? -- http 21:14, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
This site may have an error. I put an iPhone 3G and iPhone 2G in DFU mode, both before and after iTunes tries to send WTF-and-friends when plugging in. I've searched with both methods it stated and did not see 5.08 or 5.09. That sounds more like baseband bootloader numbers. Iemit737 02:52, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
