This is 16 GB model of the iPod touch 5G. Quietly announced on May 30, it superseded the 16 GB iPod touch 4G. However, it excludes the rear camera and the loop, and is only available in a Black and Silver color.

Application Processor

It makes use of the S5L8942 application processor.

Wireless

The iPod touch 5G uses the BCM4334 for Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth 4.0.
