ITunes Errors
Most of the errors can be found here
Here is a list of iTunes error that could appear during a restore or a USB connection via iTunes:
2: Sn0wbreeze 1.6 Custom Firmware has a ASR patch problem. Use Sn0wbreeze 1.7 or PwnageTool. iPhone isn't bootable.
14: Custom Firmware update fail (Pwnage Tool). You have to restore the iPhone with a custom firmware. Update to a Custom Firmware isn't working. iPhone isn't bootable. 2
17: Custom Firmware update fail (Sn0wbreeze). You have to restore the iPhone with a custom firmware. Update to a Custom Firmware isn't working. 2
26: False version of the NOR Flash firmware. Use the correct Sn0wbreeze version for your iphone firmware.
37: iPod touch LLB patch on a 3Gs custom firmware. Known on damaged bundles from inofficial Pwnage Tools or bundles.
1015: Baseband firmware on the ipsw is higher than the baseband firmware on the iPhone. 1
1600: Custom Firmware can't be restored on an iPhone with DFU. Use the Recovery Mode.
1603: False Kernel Cache patch. Known on damaged bundles from inofficial Pwnage Tools or bundles.
1604: iPhone isn't jailbroken or Spirit2Pwn isn't installed. Custom Firmware can't be restored.
1611: iTunes tried to enter the Restore Mode, but the iPhone turned back to the Recovery Mode.
1644: ipsw was moved during prepare with iTunes. Try it again and don't move the ipsw.
2002: iTunes can't connect because another program is using it. For example during Blackra1n jailbreak/reboot etc.
3002: Update to for example 3.1.3 isn't working. You can only update to the newest firmware. I you have SHSH try to restore the iPhone.
3XXX: iTunes can't connect to gs.apple.com. Maybe Port 80 and Port 443 is blocked. Open it on your router.
0xE800006B: iPhone was plugged in and suddenly plugged off. iTunes couldn't connect with the iPhone. Try it again.
0xE8000065: Sn0wbreeze Custom Firmware error on USB connection. Plug it off reboot the iPhone and plug it in again.
This device isn't eligible for the request build: Apple doesn't sign the firmware anymore. I you have SHSH your hosts file isn't correct edited or the SHSH server is down.
1 Use iRecovery or RSLite and enter "setenv auto-boot true", "saveenv", "reboot" to boot.
2 iPhone isn't bootable, but a custom firmware can be restored if it has a jailbreak and the requirements.
