Talk:Siri
Would it be legal to put Siri on a non 4s device if Apple themselves provided the files needed for that ? --M2m 09:11, 7 November 2011 (MST)
- I'm not a lawyer or anything, but if you owned an iPhone 4S and was able to extract the correct files from it I reckon they probably can't get you --Rekoil 05:19, 9 November 2011 (MST)
- I am more referring to the fact that a full version of ios for the 4s is available OTA in a zipped archive.--M2m 13:17, 26 November 2011 (MST)
- Spire installs Siri by download this 554f7813ac09d45256faad560b566814c983bd4b.zip and then copying the necessary files, which is what you're referring to M2m. It is said that Spire is legal, so I assume so. Maybe something about this could be added to the Siri page. --Srb21103 (talk) 08:19, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
